A webinar on the topic “Testing of Power Transformers at Substation” was hosted by the Industry Applications Society Chapter of IEEE Student Branch, ASIET in association with the Power & Energy Society Chapter of IEEE Student Branch, ASIET and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ASIET on 4th of August, 2020 from 6.00 PM to 7.00 PM, through an online platform. The webinar was handled by Mr. Ben Antony, Assistant Engineer, KSEBL. The webinar emphasized on the future of renewable energy and power station and by the end of the session, the attendees acquired the knowledge about how the testing of power transformers at substations are done significantly, how it is carried out across various nations and how renewable energy will also soon contribute to society in order to meet the huge demands.
