In accordance with the IEEE Week Celebrations, IEEE Student Branch at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology successfully conducted an interactive and informative session with the students of Sree Sarada Vidyalaya, Senior Secondary School, Kalady on 5th October, 2019. The program was conducted under the banner ‘BODHI – Enlightenment Program for School Students’ on the topic ‘Why Engineering?’

The program started off with an introduction followed by the question ‘Why choose Engineering?’. The session catered to discussions about various engineering courses and institutions, eligibility criterias, competitive examinations and about the innumerable opportunities available after engineering. An interactive session with the with the final year engineering students helped the students clear the air about various misconceptions concerning the field of engineering.
