The Women in Engineering affinity group under IEEE SB ASIET conducted an interactive talk on Women Empowerment on 14th March 2019 in association with the WIE week of the year. Eminent IPS (Indian Police Service) officer Mrs. Hemalatha M was the honourable chief guest, and the speaker of the day who took her time to enlighten our students on the socio-cultural problems faced by girls and extended realistic solutions and steps which were to be followed in case of such unfortunate incidents.
